Hoffy, Well said. I liked your post -especially where you said, "There are NO guarantees", and ALL stocks are hype until shown that the fundamentals are real, that the numbers are real, and the "big story" is out on the table. Your words to the wise echo my sentiments for people to exercise caution. To compare this product with Internet hyped MLRE was only to show that ANY hyped stock could prove to be just that - hyped stock. As an engineer, you may appreciate comparing it to hype that was given to SOMN a short while ago. It makes a device that will cure snoring. We all know that snoring is a pain in the fanny to everyone who sleeps next to a snorer. The stock was hyped, people bought, it went nowhere. It actually went from 2 1/2 to a gap up to 3 1/2. It's back sitting at 2 7/8. No big deal happened. It was (and is) a great product for physicians to use to stop snoring. It's just that not that many companies chose to use it. Another was Biolase BLTI, . . .a devise used to cut teeth using a water stream, rather than the drill bit that hurts a lot. At 2 7/8, it was hyped on WBZ Radio in Boston. It sits at just above 3 today. . . not a big deal, but the technology was there. I was in the USAF working on jet engines years ago. We used to "Magnaflux" engine parts. It was a process used to detect cracks in jet engines due to excessive vibration. This device COULD be used to detect cracks in lots of aircraft. WILL it? I don't know. If so, when? I don't know. Monday? No. They COULD get contracts for using it in other fields. WILL they? I don't know. Will they on Monday or Tuesday? No. Unless, of course, the "big news" is that they WILL get a big contract - but so did SOMN. There's a guy on another thread - goes by the handle RADAR. His motto is great, "Slow and steady as she goes." He's a Navy man, I guess, but I like his style. I like patience and timing, DD, and then it comes down to pure speculation, and a willingness to take a gamble. As Clint Eastwood would say, "Are you feelin' lucky?" Bottom line is that I do own MRPS - not a lot, about 2000 shares. I would accumulate MRPS for the longer term (and may) if I see that it is a stock that has the potential (and numbers) to make it rise steadily. If it goes to $20.00 some day, I may still have the shares. Typically, I won't. Best of luck on Monday - and beyond. re:MAX
