I am saying it was luck. Pure and simple. The investor did no research regarding the company fundamentals.

Glenn

Glenn,

I agree that the fundamentals don't support the price, but I don't think that it is luck that we are making money with AMZN.

How often do you do research and find a stock that is fundamentally strong, and very much undervalued...so you purchase it, and six months later the stock has not moved for the simple fact that the demand is not there.

So I agree that research is essential I don't think that it always important to look at the fundamental, because in the end we are just trying to make money. Markets are not efficient and equities are not priced correctly, this is what gives rise to the opportunity to make money. It is simple economics that supply and demand drive the prices (not always based on fundamentals).

It is not pure luck to make money on overvalued stocks, it takes a lot of time, research, and appropriate timing.

I just hope that my LUCK keeps going.

Matt

The harder you work the luckier you get.
