Re: NY Times and ECN's articles
Do a search for member "scanshift" on SI, then read his personal profile. He popped up on the MB Trading thread back in Nov. and claimed that he was a partner with the Putnam guy mentioned in the NY Times article, but that Putnam strong armed him out of the business. He also made some allegations of Putnam trading against customer orders, and some other interesting reading. Putnam came back and tried to paint him a quack, but the quack has a website endorsed by John Bollinger. www.scanshift.com, and at one time gave a link to one of the two Chicago newspapers, can't remember which, in which he was interviewed from the floor of one of the futures exchanges as to the mood of the market.
Too bad there's no stocks to be shorted out of all this.
