Thread, SAN's are starting to role. Going into the year 2000 they may be a driving role in how corporate IT monies are spent. Growth of SAN storage will have an impact on the drive industry. Of course there is not much business application software yet developed to take advantage of the SAN solution. Moreover, PC purchase decisions are often a local functional decision versus a IT executive decision. Still, SAN's should change how people think about storage? I'm wondering if anyone here has any thoughts as to how the SAN solution will impact the drive industry, the PC industry, and the IT industry in general? TIA for any comments. Regards, Lee
