Jim, Its probably a long shot but we have a Schulte Oil Company in my area. (405)262-3121. Its been around longer than I can remember. At least since the 1950s.

Yahoo has a telephone directory search engine that will search nationwide. If these companies are still around, you might be able to track it that way. If these companies are not longer around (i.e. BK), the stock certificates might have some collector value. Good luck.
