Does anyone know of Sun's relationship to Insignia Solutions, INSGY? I heard they have some kind of technology that is very valuable for java and jini in embedded devices. Their stock jumped 25% on Friday, and I think more good news might be upcoming within a month. Their product apparently is very promising.

article in IBD, Monday's edition, said exactly the same thing.....people waiting for the release of Pentium III before buying a new PC.

I dunno Cyrus! It would take more than the Pentium III to make us shovel out money for a new PC. If you already have a PC, is there any reason why you cannot purchase Pentium III and install it yourself? As for first-time PC buyers, most may not know the difference between the last Pentium and Pentium III. Anyway, most people buy PCs for their applications. If there is a slow down in PC purchase, it may be because the market is saturated with PCs that run Windows 95 and Windows NT. Also, the slow-down in the economies of other countries may impact our own, eventually.
