I think the spring relapse could start even before the end of March. Originally, I had mid March (giving two weeks after the Fiscal year end in Japan to "percolate" through the Asian markets), but with the talk going on of less robust than expected PC sales, it is possible that the next swoon will have a double whamo, fear of recession here and fear of the falling tigers in the east. Of course, the loss of a major engine driving this market to higher and higher valuations, declining long term rates, will have an additional negative impact. Everything seems to call for a quite severe decline, maybe to the 8200 to 8400 level on the DOW.
