I have been involved in Racing for 30 years and there is no such thing as a sponsor exemption.. In NASCAR you can get a champions provisional, Bodine was never Winston Cup Champion so he doesn't qualify for that. You can also get NASCAR provisionals based on your standings in the points, but if you don't qualify either on speed or on provisionals YOU DON"T RACE. I have no expertise in the stock market but when it comes to racing I consider myself an expert. I made my living doig it for a few years so I should know...Probably the article was written for the individuals who are not familiar with racing..I am trying to point out both sides of the equation..
