Backup everything first before testing. Then if you try copying just those specific files mentioned to overwrite the new program installation it should reset everything. But if you're saving line studies and text commentary using smart charts as part of the experts on individual charts, you might still have problems as that info is saved in the data subdirectories as MSSmarts, not in the programs files. I haven't determined how these are linked back to their respective *.dat files. Equis made it about as confusing as possible. <g> Better to be safe, Lee.
