If this closes at $17, its worth $17. I think based on the circumstances, it is probably worth more. If Board does its job, they will try to shop a little now- get another big player interested and then tell the good news that they haven't been telling the market (assuming there is some). Then we could see something North of $20. It is unlikely that they turn offer down without either A) competing offer or B) giving more good news to market- either way shouldn't drop much. Or Phillips has offered key VLSI insiders sweet something to close deal in which case $17 could take the day.

I was thinking if there is no white night and they turn down the deal we may have a pull back. It looks like its gonna open higher today. Why this was at 15 on Friday beats the heck out of me. 2 points was a big spread. Still holding on to 80 % of holdings.
