Today we get the news that PTVL has signed up 5 companies to advertise on their site, the companies include HP and AT & T. As I always believe that PTVL is going towards the right direction. The revenue for PTVL has to be coming from advertising, and if you look into their past earning releases, you shall see how the advertising revenue is growing. In addition, by focusing on tour packages rather than airline tickets which has a low commission structure, this will only enable PTVL to increase its profitability. As you may noted that PTVL is my only pick for the E-commerce sector. Being the leader of travel on line is a very important strategic move and its vast on-line real estate makes it a prime candidate for merger with a larger e -commerce site. Forget about the hype that who is going to be the new CEO; look always at their fundamentals and understand which way they are heading towards. PTVL is presenting tomorrow at H & Q around 12:00 pm.
