Hey kemble,

Just caught a bit of MD and Lou Dobbs tonite...very positive..addressed the issue of many trying to copy Dell's model and none successful. I wish this had been the interview with CNBC after earnings as the tone was very upbeat.

Hope you are well and warm

Judith

Kemble:
A few strange facts from analysts estimates:
1. August 1997 - 12 months price target = 105
(It hit 103 in 15 days)
2. Feb 1998-6 months price target =$135
( It hit 139 in 9 days)
3. June 1998- 12 month target=$101
( It hit 117 in 17 days)
4. Aug 1997 - 12 months target=$124
( it hit 128 in 5 days)
Summary: Average time required for Dell to reach an analysts new 12 month price target = about 12 days
