Good morning Hal,
It would be difficult to do the math assuming you bought the stock at $40. To do it you would have to also assume when you bought it, what you could buy and sell the calls for, and what you could buy and sell the protective puts for. Too much assuming for me. As I posted earlier, I have brought my nut down from $67.25 pre split to $24 on CPQ since purchasing it in October 1997. I have made 25 plus trades thus far. This is fact, no assuming.
