You may well be right of course.

However I seem to recall the Intel faithfull felt the same way in December when Intel cut prices. Then In January they cut prices again.
Tomorrow they will cut prices again.

Yet AMD is gaining market share quite rapidly and catching up on speeds as well.

I am curious why you feel that this is happening.

Why did AMD get to 50% in sub 1000 retail.
And why did they get to 40% in the $1000-1500 retail market segment.

Even in Hawaii you must be aware that one can buy complete Intel celeron systems from $599 upwards.

So why are folks buying an alternative processor to intel in droves?

And if AMD can offer a higher performance processor than Intel in the near future why do you delude yourself that retail consumers and business consumers will not be smart enough to purchase such systems?

Something more intelligent than the mantra of the more they make the more they lose as a response would be appreciated.
