<<The Cats Meow is well known for its Karaokie>> Oops, I forgot to tell you guys that it is also well known for people getting stuff stolen from them. My wife and a friend had their purses stolen one night when we were there. Basically, what happened was that some blonde bimbo slapped one of our party in the face ( not me!) claiming that he had grabbed her butt ( he hadn't). There was a bit of a melee (sp?) for a little while then when my wife and friend looked for their purses which they had placed ( foolishly in retrospect ) on the bar next to them, they were gone! I've also heard of several other instances of people being ripped off there. So, watch out. Baldy has warned you.
