If the market breaks down, it is likely an upside reversal will not occur until the foreign markets are stabilized. These types of macro events will be necessary to reignite a bull market. This will, of course, be accompanied by large volume increases.
I have not learned enough yet to have specific indicators flash signals at me.
Again, if the market is to break out to the upside, from these levels (which I doubt), IMO it would require participation of the other major economies. Keep abreast of developments in Japan, Europe, China and Brazil, and hopefully some day Russia. When some of those economies get it together, we will be ready for the next bull market.
