Right now Clinton is waiting to see how the polls go. That's what he always does. If the numbers decline, he'll decide how much he should say. His handlers have probably told him to keep his mouth shut until they have decided what he should say.

I think the story will go away soon, simply because there's not a lot one can say about it, since there is no avenue to go down.

There is no doubt though, that Clinton's legacy is becoming more and more tawdry and tattered as the days go by. At some point, and probably before his term is up, he will probably be almost universally disrespected. For now people have decided that they don't care what he did with who for how many cookies, but at some point they will drop him like a used Kleenex. The Broaddrick story provides fuel to hasten that day.
