CK --- What is out as PR for the masses is very much on target. The links John Mansfield put out are public record. The comments added to those links were comments that anyone can make. They are not correct but he or anyone can make all the comments they wish about any organization. THE POINT is more companies will not permit TAVA or others to mention contracts when if they believe comments of that sort will be made. Negative and untrue. Back to ZZZzzzzz

Still digging that bunker, eh? ;> Hope the new house is finally feeling like, well, "home"...

In last week's meeting of FEMA officials in Philadelphia, it became very obvious that the consensus scenario is little more than localized disruptions to services and businesses, about as intrusive as a heavy winter storm. So while it will pay to be prepared, the sky will not likely fall.

Some businesses and government agencies, particularly smaller business and local municipalities, might feel the brunt a bit more. In an informal poll I did of a couple local business, many have systems that were purchased from companies that have long since gone out of business, and are left with little option but to "ride it out" and switch to the old fashioned bookkeeping methods or outsource it until they can afford a replacement.

There are some indications that the problems might be more serious in other parts of the world, however, nothing that could be construed as "destabilizing".
