Didn't Kurlak used to work for Merrill? Intel is a great stock right?

Yes, Kurlak WORKED for Mer, and Intel wasn't under covered, it was misunderstood.. A BIG difference.

Re coverage, one must look at the analysts client base. That is, if ML has on average older wealthier clients, perhaps they do not want to cover or recommend buying a high risk/high growth stock like RMBS.

This was just a thought, I am not married to it. Also, the early bird analysts are sticking their necks out as nothing is proven yet. Some of the other analysts who have yet to cover may be risk averse in terms of making a call this early and blowing it.
