My sentiments exactly!

I have never seen BRK at such a discount ... We are early 50's retired and if we did not have ground rules to assure we should never have to return to the high tech lands we come from .. I would ortgage the house for BRK right now.

A valid contribution - yours - I started retiring at age 55 some 13 years ago, not knowing at that time about BRK.b...
Today out of my US stocks 82% are in BRK.b and the balance - a few stocks only - in some little amounts in MSFT, SAP, CISCO, AOL & EBAY, besides MO.
The beauty of BH is not recognized by many investors - I guess - it's the fact, that no dividends are paid and that alone again makes it attractive from the tax angle in our country which is Switzerland.
To analyze however the real value of BH remains a problem for me an d perhaps most other investors. It takes time to understand the philosophy of BH and re-reading the books helps.
Funny note: My eldest grand child has asked me, if I wouldn't open for him an investment a/c with BH and manage his money? Why? Because he trusts me. I answered him, that I will consider the matter, but only if he sticks with me making the investment decisions together.
