I submit to no one- and I urge my children to think for themselves and do the same. When you submit and subsume your intelligence in a strict belief, any belief, you limit the amount of wisdom you can let into your life. Humans are already such limited creatures I see no reason they should be limited further by willingly putting on blinders. Eternal life is an untested quantity and you may or may not get it. I do not look forward to spending eternal life, if it exists, with the people who are convinced it DOES exist. They are awful enough in this finite realm of existence, they would be unbearable for infinity. You mistake mocking for hostility.
