Brian Halla has screwed up big time.
They have failed in quite a spectacular way.

They have split their design teams into 5-6 products and they are so contipated that no new chips re in sight.

In addition the fab guys have failed dismally in speeding up the MII or the GX for over a year.

A 333Mhz MII at $30-40 is just not going to cut it with anybody.

They could certainly have taken the 2 chip GX chip set and put into a single chip PBGA and have a profitable $20-30 chip and these idiots are not even doing that.

And seeing as Halla comes from LSI he should have understood time to market.

The fab utilisation at Portland and selling the chips at a loss is going to be ugly for next quarter.

And Scumbria thinks that Halla is not to blame.

Regards,

Kash
