re"leaving the rest uncovered for short term cash flow" Well the LEAPS I sell will give me money to do other things: but it will give me money once (unless I buy them back cheaper sometime in the future and re sell). But March cov calls will expire and I can do it again in April on the same shares, giving me"cash flow". Since I live on my salary the "cash flow" is for buying calls or stocks or AOL or EMC or DELL (but I think I want a little more diversity now) leaps. Freeus
