WHile I had the flu last week, I read Robin Cook's Toxin, which goes into a detailed description of a meat factory, all the terrible things that go into hot dogs and hamburger, the poor cows, mooing and crying as they're marched to their brutal and gruesome death and if that didn't make you ill, he describes people dying of e coli, all their systems breaking down, hemmorhaging. I thought, oh good! Now I'll be so grossed out I'll become a vegetarian and get skinny and healthy.
But I think red meat addiction must be just as difficult to cure as smoking or nailbiting. I saw the words Prime Rib of Beef in your post and began to drool. Now I'm wondering if it's too late to grill steaks for dinner---real bloody ones. THe cow is already dead, I don't want to render his life meaningless.
