To all: It appears likely that I am going to come into some gains relatively soon, and (not to sound negative - isn't meant that way) it appears to me at least that the petroleum sector is beaten down so far it has nowhere to go but up - at least in the longer term. I am NOT knowledgeable about the sector, and the first inclination would be to invest in a sector fund...

That said -

1. Any advice on which sector funds to look at?
2. Any individual companies that I should have my eye on?
3. I've spent some time looking at Falcon (FLC) and it seems to me that there might be a buying opportunity if you believe that offshore drilling is where its at. Any thoughts?

Platter, Al-Naimi is setting out Saudi Arabia's initial position prior to the March OPEC meeting. Should be interesting to see what happens...
