March 1, 1999 Dow Jones Newswires CheckFree To Provide Internet Billing For Nevada Power Dow Jones Newswires ATLANTA -- CheckFree Holdings Corp. (CKFR) agreed to provide Internet-based electronic billing and payment services for Nevada Power Co. (NVP). Terms weren't disclosed. In a press release Monday, CheckFree said Nevada Power's more than 550,000 electricity and energy services customers will be able to receive bills through the Web using CheckFree's E-Bill service. CheckFree plans to begin providing the service in June. Nevada Power provides electricity and energy services to residents of Las Vegas and southern Nevada.
