Where is the portal deal?... good question.

As far as the purchase of the NY station, read this.

Someone pointed us to this post on another board. To make sure you consider this, I have clipped and pasted it here for easy reading...

"...Perhaps you are alluding to the purchase of the Bridgeport TV station from Paxson. As you are no doubt unaware, VVTV sold this very same station to Paxson three years ago, for more than three times what it paid the year before. It could afford to sell this property and reap a huge gain because it had entered into affiliation deals with Time Warner and Cablevision, the two largest cable system operators in the New York metropolitan area. SATH does not have similar affiliation agreements and is therefore desperate to gain even a small foothold in the NY market and is no doubt paying an enormous price. By the way, have you thought of what Paxson will do with the money? Well, since he owes VVTV a final $10 million payment on his purchase of the Seattle station, I'd speculate that a good chunk of it will be rerouted to Eden Prarie.

As an intelligent and knowledgeable person would recognize, both Paxson and SATH are trying to make the best out of bad situations, while VVTV appears to be reaping the ultimate benefit..."

I believe in Sath, but I don't like the charts yet. It looks like there is still a downward path with this stock. I will watch and wait.
