Millennium Introduces 'Off-the-Shelf' Field Service Management Application
That is Wireless-Enabled Using Nettech's InstantRF Middleware
Palen/Kimball Company Deploys Miracle SMS Enterprise Using the RIM
Inter@ctive 950 Pager

DALLAS, March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- (BellSouth Wireless Data Developer
Conference) -- Nettech Systems, Inc., today announced that its InstantRF(R)
middleware is wireless-enabling Millennium Softworks new "off-the-shelf"
wireless field service management application. Called Miracle SMS
Enterprise(TM), this new application allows companies to quickly automate
field service dispatching, providing remote access to service history and
tracking all inventory used at the service call. With the use of an available
software developers kit, software developers and systems integrators can
easily enhance the application to share information with any enterprise-wide
system, further automating the management of field service operations of any
size.

Palen/Kimball Company, a large mechanical services firm in St. Paul,
Minnesota, is the first customer to deploy Miracle SMS Enterprise.
Palen/Kimball Company provides preventive and predictive maintenance on
commercial and industrial heating, ventilating, air conditioning and
refrigeration HVAC&R equipment. The company is deploying the solution to its
25 field service technicians who will use the application on the Research in
Motion Inter@ctive pager 950 in the field.

Via a wireless connection over the BellSouth Intelligent Wireless Network(SM)
and the Inter@ctive pager, Palen/Kimball Company can dispatch work orders to
its field service technicians and provide customer history. The company is
currently testing and will soon deploy the ability to allow technicians to
automatically update customer history, inventory and billing systems directly
from the field. Palen/Kimball Company says the new system will significantly
improve their customer service and allow its back office field service
operation to become entirely paperless.

Nettech Systems' RFgate(TM) and RFlink(TM) have been integrated into
Millennium's Message Server application, which provides the wireless
communications server that communicates with the host application and the
Inter@ctive pager over the BellSouth network. "We chose to integrate
Nettech's middleware products because they allowed us to quickly
wireless-enable our Miracle SMS Enterprise application," said Steven J.
Hulaj, president and CEO of Millennium Softworks International Corporation.

"Miracle SMS Enterprise is an "off-the-shelf" field service and dispatch
solution that was designed for the larger departments or organizations,"
Hulaj continued. "We engineered it to work with other systems, and work on
virtually any wireless device without the need for any source code
modification whatsoever. Using our free SDK, application developers have an
open platform to further enhance or integrate their existing applications and
make a complete wireless dispatch solution as part of their own offering.
While it can operate as a stand-alone solution, our goal is to partner with
other companies that will 'tune' the product for their respective niche
markets. Nettech's RFgate and RFlink give Miracle SMS Enterprise the
flexibility to meet any customer or developer needs because they support a
broad range of wireless networks and devices."

"Millennium offers a robust wireless field service dispatch solution that
will ease the entry into wireless for organizations wanting to streamline and
enhance their field service operations," said Michael Wyckoff, senior channel
sales manager with Nettech. "Because our middleware is easily integrated into
applications, while shielding a developer from understanding the intricacies
of wireless communication, we can help our developer partners, like
Millennium, more quickly deploy their solutions.

"The release of Miracle SMS Enterprise also shows how our wireless middleware
is becoming a standard component of successful wireless deployments," Wyckoff
continued. "Organizations such as Millennium are now offering their own
software developer kits that include Nettech as part of their solution."

Miracle SMS Enterprise is a thin-client, three-tier, distributed object job
scheduling solution for businesses with 20-2000 people on the road. Used as a
stand-alone dispatch solution, Miracle SMS Enterprise can be operational in
days. The Miracle SMS Enterprise SDK allows third party developers to create
links with existing information systems. For example, Miracle SMS Enterprise
can integrate with Help Desk or other applications to create new service
calls directly within the dispatch system or allow mobile workers to update
existing inventory applications directly from the field.
