Intel is in trouble. The announcement by Toshiba that they are going to use a cheaper chip in their retail machines only reinforces the trend from Intel to AMD for retail chips.

Intel will be forced to cut prices and margins on the low end to meet this threat. I am amazed that they allowed these companies to switch without meeting prices.

I think the stock price reduction the last few days is only the start of a trend for them. This is a real "story" change, IMO.
