Zip 5 - SuperDisk 0

While SuperDisk remains disturbingly visible at "my" Staples, the eight-page insert in the Sunday paper may portend clear sailing ahead.

1. Large ad for HP computer w/ Zip built-in

2. Full page push for Compaq 'configure-your-own-Compaq' notes Zip as a primary option.

3. Availability of Zip 250 for $199 (compatibility with Zip 100 noted)

4. $69.99 for five pack of colored Zip 100 disks

5. $9.94 for three pack of Maxell Zip 100 disks (w/mfrs. rebate). Heck, they're only $15.94 w/o the rebate!

As noted at the top, I saw NO reference to SuperDisk.
