I don't have the current total number of users. A while back when I checked, they were sign up about 1000 users per month. And they had a long list of bank locations where people can sign up for their ISP service. (Yes in China, you go to a bank or post office to sign up for ISP services. ) They were only providing service to Shenzhen and 4 other adjacent areas (Luo Hu, etc. -- I translated and posted fee schedule for those ares last summer but I don't remember those four areas right now. ) They are not as big as other big name ISPs in China (although Newsnet is wholly owned by China Telecom). If they were the biggest one in China, the stock won't be below $2 right now. I don't think we have to wait for them to open up service in all six cities they have licenses in. What I am waiting for is for GTCI to get the foot firm in Shenzhen and then get their foot in Shanhai. I think that would be enough proof that this company can become a serious player in China. And I believe my investment will be richly rewarded at that time. Some people may call that wishful thinking and they may want to wait till this company to establish in all six cities and prove itself before investing in it. Those are people who prefer investing in IBM of Microsoft. (That's a safe investment strategy and there is nothing wrong with that.) But I like to take some risk and I will gladly sell my shares (at a much high price of course) to those people when the company has proven itself.
