Not only that, the index quotes have just gotten better :)

Hope it lasts!

My apologies, Fred. My last post may have sounded insensitive.

I'm sorry you are having problems and the NY server is down.

I was just so happy to have the index quotes good again, that I guess I let my "irrational exuberance" get the better of me.

This is ridiculous - there is no point in updating developments with quotes every time they are up or down. In the future, I'll confine myself to once-a-week reports should there be a need.

Apologies all around.

Morgan

I just started using Internet Toolkit to trace route and give connection speeds to various routers with my ISDN IPS connection. I traced the routes to DNS numbers used by CyberTrader servers. There was a big difference with time of day, 2pm Eastern the speed was down to half with several NO REPLYS. I then connected to BBN long distance to Phoenix and the speed was 2 1/2 to 3 times faster.

Today I signed up for Internet service through UUNET backbone and will know more next week. Get Internet Toolkit at www.tnsoft.com
