Ericsson CDMA Handsets Within 12 Months Of Patent Solution

Thanks for the link, Horselist. If my Swedish doesn't fail me, the head of Ericsson's handset division is saying that he believes that CDMA will take
50 percent of the U.S. handset market (in your face AT&T!), "It would be disturbing if we didn't have any of our phones on those shelves when this
happens". He also states that the primary goal for Ericsson with regards to Qualcomm is to find a solution to the patent issues and the trial. Once
this is done Ericsson will have CDMA handsets on the market within 12 months, Siberg says. I understand why this guy is more open to solutions
that will allow Ericson to sell CDMA handsets - it will be hard for him to keep the current market share without these handsets - but it is still
interesting to note that the tone is so conciliatory. Good things might happen sooner than we think.
