Well, at least you don't have to keep "tote", "fetch" and "carry" straight. I mean, is it "tote me that fan, will you?" or is it "fetch me that fan, will you?" (I'm joking, everyone knows it's "fetch").(But now I feel uneasy about where to put the periods. I thought I had that figured out.)(Inside the quotation mark, outside the parenthesis).

But would you say, "we carried him up to Nachitoches"? Or would you say, "we fetched him up to Nachitoches".
