My wife and I own an "excess" piece of real estate down here.

We have had it for several years.

This is one of the fastest growing areas of the U.S. (We are about to get our second new telephone area code since 1995).

Our piece of land is unchanged to down in price.

New York City is NOT the real world.

Jon.

Up until now Interest rates were lower. When someone pays 10% more but their monthly mortgage is the same or less because of cheap mortgages, inflation is kept at bay. However with rates rising there will be a quik reversal!
