I don't agree with Mr. Norris. The whole point of the antitrust suit is that Microsoft is refusing to allow its monopoly by altering the natural path of the market. You see all these firms offering Linux and/or making their computers Linux-compatible. Does anyone here think that they would be doing these things if Microsoft was as unfettered in their behavior as two years ago? Would Dell really get Red Hat to certify their computers as Linux Compatible? Would Intel have invested in Red Hat? The fact is, the Microsoft monopoly is far more likely to end now than two years ago, in large part in my view because of the current court case.
