This must give the AMD K6-3 product releases of last week a lot of appeal.

Buy after the downgrades...

Can more downgrades have a big effect...or did Friday's two do most of the damage. If I was one of those analysts that is currently sitting at hold I'd be upgrading to at least a buy after Friday's carnage. I just wish I had some cash to play with.

My understanding is that each PC manufacturer has the opportunity to disable the "Big Bro" in their BIOS. Also, I believe Intel will have software available to turn it off and on. I believe IBM has already announced that they will incorporate this feature.
