No, me neither. I'm sure they've got something similar up their sleeves. They have a RISC core too. Seems almost obvious they have a similar thing in development. Still, there's no question this doesn't bode well for margins going forward (not that we didn't all know margins would be whiddled away down to nothing sooner or later). I think CNXT is more able to operate on razor-thin margins than BRCM. Will be interesting to see the response and their price points. From a consumer point of view though, these advances (even though they're incremental) go a long way towards getting the price point down to the area that people have accepted for a "modem." The average consumer could care less how much more complex a cable modem is..."it's just another modem" to them. "It should be the same price as my old modem."
