As one of those customary slow, low volume, Ampex water torture declines takes place again.....familiar ground to AXC veterans, I simply ask myself if I want to be in this stock the next time volume exceeds 2 million shares. This time around I sure do.

Hi, Hal. Had flu for 4 days. Better now but 200+ msgs behind!

Original IPO of BCST common stock, 07/98, was 2.875mm shares at $18, for a gross of $51,750,000. (2.5mm shares plus "greenshoe" of 2.875mm shares.) Total shares outstanding at the time of the IPO was about 17.1mm.

Related Note: CMGI very loudly proclaimed it's prepared to pump "in excess of $100mm" into its Internet TV initiative (Magnitude Network for the time being). Thus, CMGI suggests, somewhat defensively, that throwing money (and a former NBC Network president) at the business somehow entitles it to a ringside seat. Among the unknowns in CMGI's strategy are the roles to be played by its "supporting cast," including USAI/TMCS/LCOS, Barry "The Godfather" Diller, Seagram/Universal (VO) and Paul Allen's Vulcan Ventures.
