Right off, I want a 14 or 15" screen rather than a 13. Besides DVD (and an S-video connector on the back of the notebook) and the usuals on the notebook itself, _very_ important to me is availability of a mini or full-sized docking station for the notebook, which I shall order the same time I order the notebook itself. CPQ does not offer this other than for the Armada line ($$$$$$$). For the Prosignia, one can only get a port replicator for monitor, keyboard, mouse; no mention of speaker connections.

The Gateway has the option of getting a removable combination DVD II and 120MB SuperDisk(TM). Very nice.
