Ancor has now broken well below its 50 day moving average,
which was 6.22 on last Friday.

The last day this was true was on Oct. 19, 1998 when the stock
closed at 1 5/16.

So, maybe, this IS a buying opportunity.

Freep,

Your logic and reasoning are probably correct...but I still feel let down. To see the price back in the low 5's only a month or so after it touched 9, is enough to make any 3 year holder wonder what is going on. I can see not climbing, but falling back as far as we have is a real concern.

I do not think that McData has a ongoing relationship with Brocade.
I think McData has paid for some technology and has modified it
(software and hardware).

I do not think Brocade is a part of this deal at all. As you pointed
out, EMC owns McData. There was a post on Yahoo that stated this
and believe it to be correct, although I will check on it.

EMC may need to use other switches in the future to address
some different needs.
