Only if you are very quick or you like losing money in the long term. I jumped back in today on the long side, ready for another fun earnings report.

Think we will get another split? Seems likely.

Joe,

If you're a regular reader of this thread, you'll recall that I am long CMGI since last September when I scooped up shares at $20 (split adjusted). The guy who shorted this (and lost his shirt) was TokyoD'OH! last December. He pounded the table for shorting it the same morning that it broke out -- I forget -- like $70 up, or something like that.

Me? I wouldn't short this thing -- like standing in front of a 80 mph steam locomotive while armed with a polite "Stop" sign...

I like to post the short interest, however, because it's unusually good insight into investor sentiment -- hard data that's free from bias. My read on the numbers is that most are agreeing with you and I after getting KILLED in Dec/Jan... We sent Tokyo a lovely thank- you note for that one!

Good luck, stay long, ignore volatility, shoot hypesters (both long and short), and enjoy the ride.

Best,
Scarecrow
