Jim,

You can get many different kinds of GUI's for Linux. One of them appears almost identical to the Win95 interface.

In Unix land, the GUI is cleanly separated from the OS. That is a fundamental advantage of Unix over Windows or MacOS.

the GUI up and running is a challenge.
