I might say that, but I could also say, "We need a fax machine which is small, that will work reliably for large jobs." I would be far more likely to say, "We need a fax machine that is small, which will work reliably for large jobs."

Both wrong, huh? Oh, well. I'll just have to hire you to proofread my briefs from now on.

Have you noticed that the British use 'which' as though it were 'that' as a regular practice? Good British writers.

Speaking of Brits, they have different rules for whether the punctuation goes inside or out of the quotation marks, too. I like their rules better, in this case.
