wwmd - AMD - Re: antitrust case... Hmmm... I don't really know the details, but I doubt it will affect a lot. Look at Microsoft. A good time to buy was at the beginning of the trial. g If something major happens to MSFT, it could look bad for Intel. but what effect that will have on AMD is a toss-up. Don't get me wrong, I think AMD can be a good intermediate play (when timed correctly (duh?)), but as a long term hold, as my step-dad said, "Putting money in AMD is like betting against INTC". Definitely dangerous... Yeah, Tom et. al (Anand, sharky, etc.) really help us out a lot keeping us up to date. I only wish Tom wrote an article a day! g llater, Tony B
