Following up on VLNC. Just checked the Yahoo thread and found that that their competitors are LITH and ULBI. Will do a patent search on all three tomorrow.

VLNC's chart suggests a support is near in the high 6's (support line going back 6 months). I like to look at it as a research stage company that is borrowing to survive now. I would look for a sign such as a sudden surge in their process engineers wanted ads as the first step of a new round of activity. It does not necessarily lead to positive activity however. It may also turns out that this is a first sign of massive troubles as they found out they could not scale up from their prototypes and needs million more dollars of infusion. Have seen examples of biotech like this before.
