Having cards on the shelves from Diamond, Creative, and Hercules can only be great news for S3. People looking for new PCs will see them on the shelves as add in cards and will start looking for them in the new PC that they want to buy. There is probably a good chance that we will see them in all 5 of the top 5 OEMs too not just the 3 nameless ones that have been mentioned. The price for the chip is great and if the performance is just close to the top chips from Nvidia and 3DFX, we have a winner. I am really expecting to see a yet to be announced super gaming chip announced by the fall to compete with the best out there. This isn't a rumour, I just think that they are getting their butts in gear and the pride and hope has returned to S3's employees who have had to put up with a lot over the last 2 years. I expect that they will start to crank things out a lot quicker now and with the quality that people expect.
