I have also been watching the palm III+ thing from a distance and can't imagine why they haven't provide for removable flash memories. It seems to me that such a memory would bring the Palms into a whole new body of uses. Those little Palms could replace those portable devices the UPS guys use for example. Imagine all the sales people who could use such a device with a complete database attached to it. I just see so many uses for a CF slot on the Palms but they seem to be missing the boat. The last two hours of today's trading was definitely odd. It almost looks like something is up for tomorrow, but who knows? The stock still moves with the rest of the market which is very moody right now, but Sandisk is still clearly a nice long term play with a good chance the rest of the market will discover the company one day. But I think they need help with their PR effort and they might miss the boat on MP3 unless they get it moving soon. Right now they're still way out on the periphery. dave
