Acquisition Strengthens Cohesive's E-Commerce, Internet and
Intranet Application Development Capabilities
PALO ALTO, CALIF. -- April 6, 1998 -- Cohesive Network Systems, a rapidly growing
network and systems integrator with local offices across North America, today
announced its acquisition of I.Consulting, a Mountain View, California-based intranet
and extranet consulting firm. I.Consulting will now be known as Cohesive Network
Systems' Applications Practice.
The acquisition of I.Consulting adds extensive e-commerce and Web development
capabilities to Cohesive Network Systems' already strong network integration and
back-end database consulting practices. The addition of I.Consulting makes Cohesive
one of the major network, Web application and systems providers in the Bay Area and a
growing IT consulting presence nationwide. Today's announcement follows on the heels
of other strategic Cohesive Network Systems acquisitions in the San Francisco Bay
Area, as well as Chicago, New England and the Gulf Coast.
