My thoughts are that they are loading up on a big promo to coincide with the NASDAQ listing...so why go all out at this point, especially when the price is stable...

Later...Gator

Reference to my post, every little bit helps...

GoNorth,

If you've ever checked out the Canadian site, you'll understand what I say when I mean Bid.Com has to worry more about interesting and exciting products than visitors to the site. If you build it, they will come. (Sorry, but it works.)

People who go to auction sites, IMO, likely go to the ones that have the stuff they want and with a reputation for quality and value.

As long as Bid.Com concentrates on meeting those factors, people who shop in on-line auctions will go to Bid.Com, and will tell their friends about it. For example, I can't recall seeing an ad for Amazon, but heard from word-of-mouth. (Since my one purchase on their site, I won't go there again other than reading reviews - I end up paying 110-115% of what I could get it for in Canada.)

Denise.
